Early Colt chrome plated machined firing pin retainer. This is the first pattern of firing pin retainer used before the later phosphated cotter pin. These were used throughout the Colt 601, 602, 604 and early 603/XM16E1. Perfect as a spare or replacement for your early AR-15 or M16.
