Early Colt 601 Fat Head firing pin. This was the very first pattern of firing pin produced by Colt and used throughout Colt 601 production. It was eventually phased out and replaced with the Flat Head firing pin. Because they were phased out and only used for a short period of time they are scarce and can be very difficult to find.
These are genuine surplus parts in very good condition with only minor signs of wear/use.
