Built for purists. This is a premium, historically accurate M16A1 semi-auto lower parts kit using genuine USGI components and top-grade subcontracted reproductions. We make our own black and grey buttons/trigger guards anodized with our lowers to match. Everything is built from a handful of USGI subcontractors. READ THE FINISH/COLOR info below please

Key Features:

• Authentic USGI Parts mixed with new, USGI-grade investment cast parts from the same subcontractors (“the Pony”) used.

• M16A1 Selectors: We have new M16A1 Selectors made by an old gov contractor, we have been waiting on these for over a year. They are medium grey parkerized and will be a hair lighter than the pins/bolt catch.

• Hydramatic/HR Bolt Catches in stock and an optional choice

• Trigger: USGI-style semi-auto Schmid trigger, precision-ground sear surface — same trigger used by the Pony since the ’80s.

• Finish & Color: Please read this, I often get messages asking why the manganese phosphate parts aren't light grey

  • Steel parts are finished in CHARCOAL GREY/DARK manganese phosphate (not nitride or black oxide) just like the originals from mid 60's to 2000's - they are not black

  • Trigger guard and mag release available in Grey or Black anodized — matched in-house to our lower receivers.

  • All steel components oiled for corrosion resistance. Degrease with acetone or brake cleaner for a classic grey finish.

• Most modern LPKs (except AR15sport) include imported or incorrectly finished parts. Ours are as close to vintage USGI as it gets — no shortcuts taken.
