Amazingly accurate
This is an absolutely 100% accurate MK18 MOD 0 lower….. I’m in love with this thing. I purchased a complete upper with the Surefire light and M2 comp from the Navy on a surplus deal….Now I’ve got a replica that has everything from the Crane Systems stamp to the General Motors made USGI property stamp from the Nam era. We had these on our M16 at our command from that era in 2000……and when we got our shipment back from Indiana and put them together this was it…. I’ve matched it up with my pics from back in the day…. And it’s a dead ringer!!!!! I’m loving it baby!!!!

Hydra MK18 Mod 0
My favorite of the bunch! Well worth the wait, these are likely the best clone lowers on the market! The machining and forgings are all done the same way as the original lowers and the roll marks ARE 1:1. Since Chris owns Hydramatic's trademark, they were able to replicate everything perfectly! The only way you can tell these are reproductions is the missing sear hole. Lastly, the MK18 Crane markings are done exactly the same way they did them when they first starting converting M16A1 lowers into MK18 Mod 0 lowers, some of the best work I have seen! IF you want the most accurate product to an original Hydramatic M16A1, MK12, or MK18 Mod 0, this is it! I don't think you will find anything better! 110% the way to go!

Hydra-Matic M-16A1 Receiver
Outstanding replica of an arsenal refinished Hydra-Matic. Looks very similar to one issued to me back in the day. Tremendous upgrade to my Mk 12.

When You Carried One For 8 Months
I was a U.S.Marine Rifleman/Radio Operator in Vietnam I 1970. After 3 months we were brought in to a 3 day stand down and the armory people went over our riles. They determined mine to be bad and gave me a brand new Hydra-Matic in a plastic bag. It never had one malfunction my last 9 months there. I got a bug a few years ago to see if it could be recreated. The first time I pulled the trigger a tear ran down my cheek. I'm some of the purists out there would think its ugly. Maybe so it looks like it has been in combat not hanging on a wall. I want to thank Chris for listening to me during a stressful period and helping a dream come true for a 72 year old man. Semper Fi
