Barrel Fitment:
- Original skinny USGI 20" & 14.5" Carbine barrels with .625" gas block journal
  - All Brands, Colt, FN Replacement, H&R, GM and any other USGI issued .625 barrel
- New production skinny H&R 20" barrels with .625" gas block journal
- Fulton Armory 20-inch skinny .625 barrels fit correctly!
- Fits the 14.5-inch Colt carbine barrels included with recent Bowman kits without shims as originally thought.
- Other 14.5-inch, .625-inch pencil barrels may require fitting or timing shims. We currently recommend installation only by mechanically experienced users.
Faxon & Brownells 20-inch barrels are functional, but their threaded shoulder is approximately 1/8 inch longer than USGI specifications. This may affect rear-cap indexing on the bayonet lug. A competent gunsmith can turn the shoulder to the proper USGI dimensions if desired.
